We are excited to invite enthusiastic players to join us for an engaging hockey practice featuring a diverse range of drills led by our skilled and passionate coaches. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your on-ice skills while benefiting from the expertise of professionals who truly love the game.
In addition to our dedicated coaching staff, we will also be training newer officials during the practice, providing players with an authentic experience of game situations and essential rules of play. Whether you're a complete beginner eager to learn the fundamentals or an advanced player looking to refine your techniques and elevate your game, this practice is thoughtfully designed for all skill levels.

Players-Body Checking Skills & Safety Clinic (4-Week Program)
Our 4-Week Ice Hockey Body Checking Clinic is designed to teach players how to give and receive body checks safely, confidently, and effectively. This comprehensive program combines on-ice instruction, off-ice training, and video review to build proper technique, awareness, and hockey IQ.
Players will work with experienced coaches and certified officials who break down the rules, mechanics, and responsibilities of body checking. On the ice, athletes will learn proper angling, positioning, timing, balance, and contact techniques, with a strong emphasis on player safety and respect for the game. Officials will provide insight into how body checking is evaluated in real game situations, helping players understand what is legal, safe, and effective.
Off the ice, participants will complete age-appropriate strength, balance, and mobility training to support safe contact and injury prevention. Video review sessions will reinforce learning by analyzing real-game scenarios and practice footage, allowing players to see correct techniques in action and better understand decision-making during play.
This clinic is ideal for players who are new to body checking or looking to refine their skills, and it provides a structured, confidence-building environment that prepares athletes for competitive gameplay.

Prepare for tryouts and elevate your game with this intensive one-day clinic focused on safe, effective body checking and on-ice performance skills. The session combines 1.5 hours of video analysis with 1 hour of on-ice training, giving players both the mental and physical tools to succeed.
Participants will begin with a video review, analyzing real-game situations to learn proper body checking techniques, positioning, timing, and awareness. Coaches will break down common mistakes and show how to maximize impact safely while avoiding penalties.
The on-ice portion reinforces these skills through hands-on drills, allowing players to apply proper body checking mechanics, improve balance, and build confidence in contact situations. The clinic also incorporates tryout-focused preparation, helping players sharpen skating, positioning, and decision-making under game-like conditions.
This one-day clinic is ideal for players looking to refine their checking skills, increase their game awareness, and perform their best at tryouts.
